Project Overview
PinPoint Mechanical completed the plumbing scope for a commercial tenant improvement project in Port Moody, converting an existing space into a fully functional daycare facility.
Scope & Requirements
The existing unit had minimal plumbing infrastructure, with only a single toilet and sink in place. The project required a full system expansion to support a high fixture count, including new drainage, water distribution, and code-compliant upgrades.
Approach & Coordination
PinPoint worked alongside the contractor to integrate new plumbing systems within the constraints of the existing structure. This included underslab work for drainage and careful coordination to align new installations with layout, inspections, and project timelines.
Work Completed
– Installed new underslab drainage to accommodate 18 plumbing fixtures, including 7 toilets and 11 sinks
– Installed a new PRV and dual check valve assembly
– Installed new copper waterlines to supply all fixtures
– Supplied and installed all plumbing fixtures during the finishing phase
Outcome
The expanded plumbing system was delivered to meet the operational needs of the daycare and all required specifications, supporting a smooth transition from base building to completed tenant space.
